For the woman who checks where an ingredient sits on the list, not just whether it's there.

Squalane is the second ingredient. In most crèmes it doesn't make the top ten.

Ingredient lists are ordered by quantity. Everything after water is ranked, which means the position of an ingredient tells you far more than its presence does.

Most crèmes put water first, then a thickener, then glycerin, and the ingredient printed on the front of the jar appears somewhere near the preservatives. This one puts squalane second. 🤍

✨ Why it behaves differently

Squalane is the stable form of squalene, which your skin produces on its own. Because it is already familiar to your barrier, it absorbs rather than sitting on the surface, and it does it without weight.

It is also expensive, which is why most formulas use a trace and lead with something cheaper. Used at real concentration, it is the difference between a crème that feels rich and a crème that behaves richly.

What it means for you: a crème that absorbs completely, leaves no film under makeup, and is still working at the end of a long day.

🌾 What's in it

💧 Squalane, second on the list Not a trace inclusion behind a marketing claim. What it means for you: the ingredient doing the work is present in the quantity required to do it.

🌰 Murumuru butter and camellia seed oil Two of the rarer lipids in skincare, both used here rather than named on the front and hidden at the back. What it means for you: richness that comes from the formula rather than from a thickener.

🧬 Linoleic and linolenic acid, listed individually The essential fatty acids your skin barrier is built from, named rather than buried inside a blend. What it means for you: what your barrier actually needs, put back directly.

🌿 No parabens, no synthetic fragrance, no phthalates Preserved with radish root ferment. What it means for you: a formula that stays stable without anything you would rather not wear daily.

🤍 Getting the most from it

Apply to slightly damp skin. A crème applied to bone-dry skin has less water available to hold, which is the most common reason a good moisturiser underperforms.

Warm it between your palms first. It blends smoother and goes further than it does straight from fingertips.

Do not skip the neck. It is thinner skin doing the same work.

🕯️ The ritual

Morning and night, face and neck. A crème earns its place by what it does daily, not by what it promises.

How to use: Blend with clean hands until creamy and smooth. Apply to face and neck morning and night.
